This role focuses on the management of key regulated markets within the Games Global portfolio, but also the onboarding and growth of new and emerging regulated markets, working as an effective member of the Markets Strategy team. The Markets Strategy Manager will own a diverse and exciting portfolio of markets to develop and grow our market share. Market portfolios will include a mix of well-established major markets such as UK, Italy, Spain and some fast-paced growing markets such as Portugal and South Africa just to name a few. The role requires the successful candidate to work cross functionally with both the Commercial Revenue teams and also the wider operational teams to ensure that the strategic direction for growth and development is devised, agreed and implemented. This is achieved through the formulation of a key strategy plan that details the key pillars for growth and the detailed initiatives and actions that drive success in this area, contributing to the development and commercial growth of the market itself. The markets SM sits central to this strategy and ensures all aspects are orchestrated utlising the expertise of all the wider teams within the business unit. The role demands the co-ordination and development of key business processes to ensure progress, robust and accurate reporting on developments in the region, plus timely and detailed updates on commercial, regulatory, compliance and licensing issues developments within the industry itself. Responsibilities Strategy & Performance Develop, manage and drive central goals/KPIs for the regulated market to meet and exceed the company’s business strategy and objectives. Identify and execute the key strategic growth initiatives in order to develop and grow the region in question, working with all relevant internal teams. Develop and grow personal external customer relationships and support the growth of B2B connections at all levels of the organisation. Work closely with Head of Market Game Performance to ensure that content volume targets and tactical content initiatives are fully supported and delivered. Analyse, evaluate, adjust the strategic requirements to respond to change or development in the market or to meet the needs of the company. Work with Compliance, Licensing and Legal to drive regulatory policy initiatives for your region Budget Management Work with senior business stakeholders to deliver an effective and strategic budget to drive growth in the market leveraging your experience and local market knowledge to make high value recommendations. Managing and drive ‘performance vs budget’ for your region and working closely with other internal teams to ensure delivery of key initiatives that support this growth. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure all promotional budgets and funds are put to maximum use in a the form of impactful and profitable campaigns and promotional initiatives. Monitor and analyse KPIs and metrics, reacting quickly to under performance and optimizing activity accordingly to counter. Reporting Responsible for generating consistent and accurate weekly and monthly performance reviews to senior stakeholders. Tasked with the completion and delivery of quarterly Strategy plans to senior stakeholders and the wider business. Must demonstrate strong presentation skills, ability to create concise and clear information then initiate and lead the wider group in discussion to foster ideas and in turn progression. Agree and implement efficient internal reporting processes between departments to ensure good flow of necessary information and results across multiple teams and stakeholders. Business Development Develop strong relationships at all level of the organisation, but specifically within the commercial revenue team to all facets of the division are supported and grown in line with the strategy devised – e.g., Account Management, New Business, Content, Product, Marketing and promotional teams Ensure the involvement and inclusion of all relevant internal teams/individuals outside of the GGL Commercial team to ensure all initiatives have full support and resource Games & Product Develop close working relationships with all relevant stakeholders across the business Leading collaboration with regional teams to align on methodology, systems, processes, and reuse of content. Provide Senior Management with local market insights to continually improve and adjust our strategy, delivery, and execution of activity regarding Games and product management. Working closely with business stakeholders, leveraging your expertise and market knowledge to influence the game, product and aggregation development roadmaps Work with internal development teams to fix issues and deliver constant improvements in the core product offering Continually refresh your knowledge of both best in industry and best in market product developments to ensure we continue to deliver best of breed products and customer experience Qualifications Extensive senior management experience essential P&L ownership experience highly preferable Strong casino/industry knowledge Experience of working with or managing budgets Experience of working with a range of teams to ensure that all activities meet the appropriate compliance standards Understanding of country level sales and marketing strategy, including annual planning and identifying key opportunity areas Strong interpersonal and presentations skills a pre-requisite Equal Opportunities Statement Games Global is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
